DAN-POL MULTINDUSTRIES COMPANY WITKOWSKI DANIEL received a grant from the European Union for the implementation of the project Automation, digitization and pro-environmental investments drive the development of printing houses.

The aim of the project is to increase the automation of the publishing printing process in our Printing House, digitize the ordering process for book products, including self-publishing, and increase the company's climate neutrality.

The goals will be achieved through the purchase of a modern three-knife trimmers, the creation of an advanced web2print portal, and an investment in renewable energy. The purchase of the three-knife trimmers will allow for the creation of a complete

automated production line for publishing printing. As a result of this project, we will respond to the growing market demand for low-volume "print-on-demand" services.

Product groups will be improved – glued books and glued folders/catalogs. New products will be added to the offering – books with flap covers, books with trimmed corners, and a new self-publishing service.

By creating an interactive ordering platform dedicated to publishing printing, we are responding to our clients' needs by offering a comprehensive portal enabling the selection of print parameters, personalization, automatic price calculation for orders as low as one copy, and order fulfillment time calculation. Artificial intelligence will propose a graphic design based on the entered phrase.

Our project also addresses environmental goals. Thanks to the investment in photovoltaic panels, the vast majority of our electricity needs will be met from renewable energy sources. The energy-efficient three-knife trimmer we purchased will increase the company's energy efficiency, reduce paper consumption in the production process, and reduce the amount of waste paper.

The project will contribute to increased employment within the company and increase the competitiveness of our printing house. The investment will increase the number of orders, which will translate into maintaining existing employment and ensuring its stability.

The project's target group is mainly the Polish market of publishing companies, training companies, SMEs printing catalogues/folders, as well as individual clients using the self-publishing offer and text authors.

Project goal: increasing the company's competitiveness and expanding its technical infrastructure,
resulting in maintaining the profitability of the Printing House and the level of employment in times of crisis.

Planned effects of the project implementation: the subject of the project was to change the service provision process
post-press at the Printing House through the purchase of a laminating machine and a binder. As a result, the company became independent from
using external services, gained price competitiveness and increased attractiveness
services provided. As a result of the project, new groups were introduced to the offer
products: glued catalogs and books and ecological advertising materials, as well as a new service
refining prints with metallized foil.
